Also known as liquidamber. A brilliant perfume ingredient, the tone is floral, but also spicy--Zee says it's an absolute must for a hyacinth or lilac accord.

Wildcrafted and distilled in Honduras.
A very rich, balsamic-sweet, floral & somewhat spicy
aroma. Floral in the direction of hyacinth, with a
pronounced opening reminiscent of styrene (some
might say gasoline) which some LOVE and others can
not abide.
